VoiceBee gives you control over your data. Here's how you can manage your privacy settings and exercise your rights.
You can delete your VoiceBee account and all associated data at any time. Email us at hello@bytebee.gr with the subject "Delete my account" and we will permanently delete your account, transcript history, and all personal data within 7 days.
You can delete your transcripts directly from the app:
Deleted transcripts are permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered.
On the desktop app, you can switch to Local Whisper mode in Settings. When local mode is enabled, all audio is processed entirely on your device — nothing is sent to any server.
AI Dictation is off by default. If you've enabled it, you can turn it off in Settings → AI Dictation. When disabled, your transcribed text is not sent to any AI provider.
Go to Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → swipe left on VoiceBee → Delete. This immediately removes the keyboard extension. No data is retained after removal.
You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data. Email hello@bytebee.gr with the subject "Data export request" and we will provide your data in a machine-readable format within 30 days.
